These cheeky young scamps from Helmsley pretty much stole the show at both Middlesbrough Music Live 2007 and Middlesbrough Music Live 2008 and with a top ten album and a handful of hit singles to their name, we’re chuffed to bits to have them back in Boro. Signed to Vertigo Records (Razorlight, The Killers, The Rapture etc) and fresh from the sold out MTV2 Spanking New Music Tour, The Guardian reckon that One Night Only’s summery indie-pop songs “have the addictive quality of early Supergrass” whilst here at TFT HQ, we think One Night Only mix the best of The Kooks youthful exuberance with The Killers knack for writing anthemic pop. Quite a combo.

New single 'You and Me' is undoubtedly their finest tune to date and is sure to be one of the sing-a-long favourites of this year's Festival season where ONO are already confirmed for Glastonbury, Leeds/Reading and T In The Park to name but a few. Come October, they'll be on top of their game for sure.

Trivia: Recently toured with The Pigeon Detectives as a supporting act.
Their song "Just for Tonight" is used in the opening credits of the E4 show Nearly Famous and also was the opening theme for the Euro 2008 qualifiers on Sky Sports.The video was shot in Scarborough.
George's brother James is the drummer for Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong.
Recently sold-out two nights in a row at their hometown gig in York at Fibbers, and also in Glasgow Queen Margaret Union.
Their album was produced by Steve Lillywhite, more famously known for producing many of U2s albums
Have recorded and uploaded their own message onto Limewire, preventing people from downloading their music and explaining that downloading music that way is "a bit illegal".
