10 GCSES & 3 A Levels later… At just nineteen, UK Rap Superstar TINIE TEMPAH, has more achievements under his belt than a heavyweight boxing champion.

His first break as a musician came when Sony launched its PlayStation Portable (PSPä) and used track entitled ‘Listen to the Vibe’ featuring Yazmin and DJ Ironik (Atlantic/Warner) for the futuristic racing game Wipeout Pure. This resulted in a promotional European tour alongside the likes of Sway (Konvict) and Dizzee Rascal (XL/Dirtee Stank). 

Creating a buzz within the urban scene, Tinie shot his first music video for promotional single entitled “Wifey” which was destined to be an underground smash hit holding the channel aka(formerly  channel u) urban chart top spot for 10 consecutive weeks.

By 2006,Tinie’s profile had increased immensely and earned him a position at the forefront of british urban music, Signing with independent label Disturbing London Records.

Tinie went on to release the music video for this forthcoming single entitled “Hood Economics” shortly followed by the release of his Exceptional debut Mix CD entitled “Hood Economics Room 147: The 80 Minute course” which consisted of underground bangers displaying Tinie Tempah’s Versatility from underground hit wifey to an impressive Grime/Pop experiment Perfect Girl Ft Ultra & Agent, generating a steady buzz and receiving various worldwide reviews including:

After the phenomenal success of Hood Economics, Tinie ascended into mainstream 
Stratosphere with the release of epic single Tears featuring Clea Sol .

His musical resume is incredibly remarkable, working with a host of top flight urban producers such as Agent X, Davinche, Rick Barraclough (Simply Red), Mike Stobbie(BMW, M&S, McDonalds commercials) and Crazy Cousins.
Collaborating with the likes of M.I.A, Jay Sean, DJ Ironik, Tinchy Stryder and Wiley to name a few.
Free styling for Tim Westwood, having A- List play listed tracks on Kiss, Choice, 1Xtra and Galaxy.

Clearly on the road to success, Tinie has performed all over the globe including the Prestigious O2 Wireless festival alongside Hip Hop legend Jay Z, Notting Hill Carnival. Participated In major corporate events including Orange’s Rock Corps project alongside Alex Zane & Busta Rhymes and numerous anti Knife/Gun crime charity events, which received media coverage on ITN, BBC & SKY.

Having recently released a promotional CD entitled “Sexy Beast Vol. 1” which has been embraced by the underground, Tinie is currently in studio recording volumes 2 and 3.  His highly anticipated album entitled “Disc-overy” due for release in early 2010. 

With his career accelerating rapidly, undoubtedly British urban music at its best.
